Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 July 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of Vector — the pilot training companion available on the web and as a native Android app, including the question bank, ground school, radiotelephony practice, mock interviews, the VOR trainer and the CRP-5 flight computer, and the school-console features for flight schools. By creating an account or using Vector you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Your account

  • Provide accurate registration details and keep your email address current — account verification and password reset depend on it.
  • Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account; an account is personal and must not be shared.
  • If you join a flight school on Vector, that school's staff can view your training progress as part of running their program.

3. Paid access

Vector is a paid product with a free tier. Paid access is purchased through Google Play in the Android app; your subscription is attached to your account, so signing in on the web inherits it automatically. No payments are taken on the web. Billing, renewals, cancellation and refunds for purchases made through Google Play are handled by Google under the Google Play terms and refund policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, extract or redistribute the question bank, lessons, scenarios or other Vector content, or resell access to it;
  • share an account, circumvent the entitlement checks, or probe, overload or disrupt the service;
  • upload content to a school workspace that you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful.

5. Content and intellectual property

Vector's training content — questions, explanations, lessons, radiotelephony scenarios, interview material and figures — belongs to Vector or its licensors. Your subscription grants a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own training. Content a flight school publishes to its own workspace remains that school's; the school grants Vector the licence needed to host and deliver it to its members. Your training data remains yours — see the Privacy Policy for how it is used.

6. Aviation safety disclaimer

Vector is a training aid only. It is not a substitute for instruction from a certified flight instructor or an approved training organization, and it is not a source of operational data. Always fly and plan from official, current publications — regulations, AIPs and NOTAMs, your aircraft's POH/AFM and your operator's procedures — never from this app. The VOR trainer and CRP-5 flight computer are practice simulations and must not be used for real-world navigation or flight planning. Question banks and study material may contain errors and can lag behind regulatory changes; we make no warranty that using Vector will lead to any exam result, licence, rating or interview outcome.

7. Availability and changes

Vector is backend-driven: apart from the offline trainers (VOR and CRP-5), the surfaces require an internet connection and depend on our servers being reachable. We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we may add, change or withdraw features and content as the product evolves. If we discontinue the service or materially reduce a paid plan, we will give reasonable notice.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vector is provided “as is” and our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. You remain solely responsible for decisions made in real-world flight operations and for meeting the requirements of your aviation authority.

9. Termination

You can stop using Vector and request deletion of your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate an account that materially breaches these terms — for example content scraping or account sharing — after notice where practicable.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated date; significant changes will be flagged in the app. Continuing to use Vector after a change means you accept the updated terms.
